Famous People Project

1. Select a person from the photographs and transfer your face into the picture.

2. Collect information about the person you selected (use the link below for websites):
a. Where and when was the person born?
b. Does the person have a different name than the name they were born with?
c. Find at least two things about the person’s childhood.
d. For what is the person most famous?
e. What else is the person famous for?
f. What important contributions did this person make?
g. Was the person married? If so, to whom?
h. Did he/she have children? How many?
i. At least two interesting facts about the person.
j. Is the person still alive? If not, when did he/she die?

3. Insert your completed picture onto a new document in Microsoft Word.

4. Beneath the picture place a text box and write an “autobiography” about the person, using the information you collected.
(Write in the first person, using “I,” as if you are the person. After all, your face is in the picture!)

You will have to type your own name onto the page, so I don’t have to figure out who you are from the picture. If you do a good job, it is sometimes difficult to tell.
